Course Objectives: 
The aim of the course is to help students understand and specialize in the field of Public Health Nursing and to develop students' nursing initiatives and skills in the fields of public health.
Course Content: 

Course content, health protection and promotion, population and health, public health concept and historical development, organization of health services in Turkey, definition of public health nursing, roles and responsibilities, community diagnoses, factors affecting health, health protection and development, early diagnosis and screening, social role of health nurse in school health services, home visits, purpose and importance, health education and counseling, follow-up of healthy children and adolescents, follow-up of women and pregnant women aged 15-49, accidents and their importance, monitoring of elderly and chronic diseases, occupational health nursing, occupational health and safety, communicable disease control and immunization.
