The Nursing National Core Education Program (HUÇEP) was taken into consideration while preparing the nursing department curriculum.
In our country, studies have been initiated to improve nursing undergraduate education and to establish basic standards; In this context, the Interuniversity Council Medical-Health Sciences Education Council held on 01-02 February 2002 at Çukurova University, an important step was taken and The Nursing National Core Education Program (HUÇEP) Commission was established by a group of nursing faculty members with our department chairperson Prof.Dr. Hediye Arslan and the ve "National Core Education Program for Nursing ”was initiated. Following the core training program completed in 2003, the program was revised in 2022 and adopted by YÖK.
