Dean's Message

Dear Students, Esteemed Academic and Administrative Colleagues, and Valued Partners,
Advances in medicine and technology continue to extend human life and improve its quality. At the same time, shifting demographics and the rising prevalence of chronic illnesses increase the demand for health services. These conditions make collaboration among health professionals essential. They also position the field of health sciences as a vital and strategic area with strong employment prospects.

Since 2008, the Faculty of Health Sciences at Yeditepe University has worked to educate professionals who are well-prepared in their fields, committed to ethical principles, attentive to human rights, and dedicated to providing care.

Our departments of Nutrition and Dietetics, Physiotherapy, and Nursing follow an educational approach shaped by international standards. Their programs emphasise evidence-based practice and aim to develop inquisitive and forward-thinking practitioners.

With an experienced academic staff, well-equipped laboratories, extensive clinical training opportunities, and an interdisciplinary learning model, we offer an environment where students strengthen their theoretical knowledge through hands-on experience.

Beyond education and research, we contribute to our partners through sectoral collaborations and consultancy services. These efforts help us maintain a structure that creates value for society.

Our graduates are sought after both in Türkiye and abroad. Their strong professional competencies, problem-solving abilities, collaborative mindset, innovative perspective, and commitment to lifelong learning enable them to excel in diverse healthcare settings.
