Course Objectives: 
This course aims to develop knowledge and attitudes about the nursing profession and the role, authority and responsibilities of the nurse in according with the nursing philosophy; it also aims to gain knowledge, attitudes and skills related to the concepts, principles, techniques and methods necessary to meet the care needs of individuals in according with basic human needs.
Course Content: 

This course will include main lectures about nursing as a profession, health care system and nursing, ethics and values in nursing, theoretical foundations of nursing practice, nursing process, hospital admission and discharge of the individual, patient safety, infection control, basic human needs in life (movement and hygiene needs), vital signs and drug applications.
