Course Objectives: 
To provide an understanding of the contents of the basic exercise types and methods used in orthopedic problems and musculoskeletal injuries; to gain the skills related to pathology, surgical operation and to create an exercise program specific to individual's condition in orthopedic problems.; to develop the ability to select and apply the most appropriate exercise approaches to the individual and the situation.
Course Content: 

Definition of orthopedic problems and exercise types used in orthopedic rehabilitation and their contents; use of isometric, isotonic and isokinetic exercises in orthopedic rehabilitation; concentric and eccentric exercises; open and closed kinetic chain exercises, remedial exercises; stabilization exercises; proprioceptive exercises, the importance of pliometric exercise applications in clinical use; exercise selection according to pathology, surgery and individual's condition; advantages and disadvantages of different exercises; theoretical knowledge and practical applications related to exercise selection at the stages of rehabilitation in orthopedic rehabilitation.
