Yeditepe University was founded on 07.06.1996 as a non-profit foundation university in Istanbul, Turkey, with a general directorate of legislation number 22659, published in the official newspaper. The Faculty of Health Sciences was established on 09.07.2007, under the Rectorate, with the decision of the Council of Ministers and number 2007/12480. The department is the first Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, established within Turkey and the foundation university, providing a curriculum 100% taught in English.
