Course Objectives:
The aim of this course is to teach the general characteristics of microorganisms that cause disease in humans and its knowledge of transmission and prevention of diseases evaluate the characteristics of disease mechanisms.
Course Content:
Introduction to microbiology, structure of the bacterium cell, physiology, reproduction, genetics of bacterium, antibiotical fact, and resistance mechanism, sterilization and disinfection. Introduction to immunology, basic immune response mechanisms, over/high sensibility reactions, serologic tests, analyzing tests of fungi, protozoa, helmint and viruses.
