As Yeditepe University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing, a virtual symposium named "Pandemic, Social Isolation and Its Effects on Community Health" was held on February 3, 2021 in order to discuss the effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic on our lives. Moderated by Prof. Dr. Hediye Arslan Özkan's "Changes Brought by Pandemic into Our Life" and Prof. Dr. Şenay Uzun, Doç. Dr. Filiz Arslan The “Effects of Pandemic on Other Areas of Our Life” panels moderated and were held in 2 sessions, “Effects on Community Mental Health”, “Changes in the Management of Chronic Diseases”, “Effects of Social Isolation in the Elderly”, “Problems Related to Women's Health, Pregnancy, Birth”. Dr. Faculty Member Işıl Işık, Faculty Member, Dr. Faculty Member Sevim Şen, Arş. Görv. Emir Avşar, Hem. Begüm Arık, Uzm. Hem. Tuğçe Atak Meriç, Uzm. Hem. Sibel Afacan and 4th grade student Hülya Nuray Bayraktar shared updated information about their subjects with the participants. The symposium was held with the participation of 160 people.
