Course Objectives: 
This course aims to introduce the definition and historical development of infection, health-related infections, important infectious diseases and causes, isolation measures and appropriate nursing care presentation and infection control measures.
Course Content: 

This course; definition, history and epidemiology of infection, definition and methods of sterilization and disinfection, important infectious agents, prevention methods and nursing care, isolation methods, definition, history, types of health care related infections, nursing applications for prevention and infection control applications in special areas.
