Course Objectives: 
Teaches the principles of statistics. Also teaches how to collecting, classifying and summarizing the data. Explains the principles of biostatistic. Teaches how to use the biostatistics in health sciences.
Course Content: 

Content of the course includes basic statistical concepts, appropriate descriptive statistics for data, tables and graphs, theoretical distributions and sample distribution, concepts of standard error and confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, correlation and simple linear regression analysis methods.
